The Tax and Customs Committee of the Federation of Egyptian Industries, headed by Mohamed El-Bahi, a member of the Federation’s Board of Directors and the head of the committee, will resume its activities tomorrow, Tuesday, during the 42nd meeting to present the amendments made to the customs tariff issued by Republican Decree No. 549 of 2020, which were previously studied by the committee and given its opinion in cooperation with the Ministry of Finance.
The committee hosts Mr. Kamal Negm, Head of the Egyptian Customs Authority, Ahmed Shehata, Head of the Authoritys Head of Technical Office, and from the Ministry of Trade and Industry, Dr. Tariq Shalaby - Assistant Minister for Foreign Trade and Agreements.
The committee also hosts Ashraf Mukhtar, Head of the Foreign Trade and Agreements Sector, Jumah Madani, Director General of Customs Release, and Eng. Essam Al-Najjar, Vice President of the General Authority for Export and Import Control.
