The Department of Medical Devices and Supplies of the Chamber of Engineering Industries of the Federation of Egyptian Industries, worked with a protocol of cooperation between them and the Egyptian Exporters Association to organize the second exhibition of the Division in conjunction with the exhibition.

The exhibition aims to benefit from the Egyptian government strategy to support the national industries, achieve an increase in Egyptian exports from the medical sector and increase the penetration of foreign markets. The event will begin on Sunday 21 April at 10.5 am, under the patronage of HE Eng. Mostafa Madbouli, Prime Minister, and with the attendance and opening of HE Dr. Hala Zayed, Minister of Health and Population and senior officials.
The exhibition will feature 40 companies from major manufacturers and exporters of medical devices and supplies. Bilateral interviews will be held with African companies. More than 50 of Africas largest medical companies have been invited from 6 African countries.

This is evidenced by the fact that Egyptian exports of the medical supplies sector recorded about 102 million dollars during 2018 compared to about 48 million dollars during 2010. And from 2017 by 20 million dollars.
In view of the structure of exports of medical supplies, we find that 67% of exports are in supplies and consumables, 30% are equipment and the rest are medical furniture.
This exhibition is a great opportunity to increase not only Egyptian exports but exports from the African continent.
