The Egyptian Federation of Industries (EIU) will sign a cooperation protocol with the Academy of Scientific Research and Technology (ITTU) at the University of Assiut on Thursday to provide scientific research, development, maintenance and engineering solutions for the industry as well as training for companies and industrial establishments.
The signing ceremony will be signed by Dr. Khaled Abdel Azim, Executive Director of the Federation of Egyptian Industries, Dr. Mahmoud Sakr, President of the Academy of Scientific Research and Technology, and Dr. Ahmed Abdo Ahmed Abdel Hafez, Chairman of the Integrated Technology Transfer Unit, Assiut University.
Under this protocol, the Egyptian Federation of Industries, within its responsibilities, provides a fixed base to receive service requests from various industrial companies and establishments and to seek to disseminate information about the services provided by the Egyptian industrial society.
The Scientific Research Academy will finance the implementation of the project, which will require work teams, maintenance and repair equipment, etc., as well as to raise some of the industrial problems that may be repeated by the manufacturers in their initiatives to universities, research centers and companies working in this area to find scientific solutions.
As part of the tasks of the Technology Transfer Unit at the University of Assiut, a part of the team and the necessary equipment will be provided, the required needs will be assessed, a short and long term technical plan will be proposed and a number of technicians nominated by the Egyptian Federation of Industries will be trained.
