The Minister of Housing, Utilities and Urban Communities, Dr. Mostafa Madbouli, held a meeting on Tuesday with Eng. Amr Nassar, Minister of Commerce and Industry, Ahmed Al Wakil, Chairman of the General Federation of Egyptian Chambers of Commerce and Eng. Mohamed El Suwaidi, President of the Federation of Egyptian Industries.

The Chairman of the Federation of Chambers of Commerce presented a report on the Federations vision of the economic reality and the difficulties, solutions and proposed plans to face the challenges that exist through benefiting from the experienced traders, manufacturers, investors and service providers from the chambers of commerce. The report is based mainly on the most important considerations and decisions that must be taken into consideration. A vision of what steps and measures should be followed to ensure the success of current fiscal and economic policies.

Ahmed Al-Wakil presented a summary of the Federations vision for the development of internal trade, transport and logistics. He presented an integrated study in this regard. He also presented a study on the importation of barley rice beside white rice, with the necessary controls by the Ministry of Agriculture, Time, which is applied by Egypt in importing wheat, beans and lentils.

Eng. Mohamed El Suwaidi, Chairman of the Egyptian Industries Union, reviewed the project of the economic zones for small and medium industries, "Your job in your village." He pointed out the importance of this project in providing employment opportunities for the villagers. The project will have a significant positive economic impact, especially as there is a demand from the manufacturers for land in Upper Egypt, given the availability of labor in various Upper Egypt governorates.

Dr. Mustafa Madbouli welcomed the study of what was presented during the meeting in general, pointing out that the successes and steady steps and confidence achieved in the past period, which contributed to the improvement of performance indicators of the Egyptian economy stems from the mutual trust between the Egyptian people and the political leadership. And exchange views between them to benefit from the accumulated experience available in various sectors to ensure that the State continues to achieve the objectives listed in its plans and make a qualitative leap that contribute to improving the standard of living of citizens and provide better services to them.
